Farm Stays

Learning Experiences - Solothurn Rural Resort.jpg

During a farm or station stay you can learn first hand what it is like to live on a working property. In Queensland, you can stay at a 30,000ha cattle station, at a sugar cane or dairy farm or choose from properties with horses, alpacas, deer and other farm animals.

Queensland’s farm areas are known for their wide-open spaces and friendly people.

Activities offered are endless; they include farm tours, bird watching, horse riding, fishing, cattle mustering, cow milking and feeding animals.

Outback station stays are becoming very popular with students who are keen to get a taste of real Australian outback life. Many stations allow you to join in on the everyday activities of a working sheep or cattle property.

Most stations and farms offer a variety of accommodation facilities, from homestay to shearers' quarters, from guesthouses to cabins and camping sites.

Visit one of our farms or stations for an experience of a lifetime.
